SharpDevelop

SharpDevelop is a Windows application for working with program code. The integrated development environment contains all necessary tools, including an editor, compiler, debugging and testing module. The program is characterized by a user-friendly interface and low requirements for hardware resources.

Project Manager

The utility allows you to fully work with the following programming languages:

• F#;
• C#;
• IronRuby;
• IronPython;
• Visual Basic .NET;
• C++;
• Boo.

After starting the program you should select the appropriate project type from the list and language. The left part of the program displays the current file structure, which makes it convenient to navigate through large projects. When opening several files, they are conveniently divided into separate tabs, which allows you to work with several files simultaneously. There is a help section with a description of the platform features, customization recommendations and other useful materials. There is a search by words.

Code Editor

All standard attributes for a modern code editor are provided. There is syntax highlighting, code addition, error marking with information output for easy search (line number is also specified). A visual form editor is implemented. This allows you to fully design graphical interfaces.

Compilation and debugging

A debugger is built in, which uses its own libraries in the process, which increases efficiency. Testing and refactoring mode is supported.
