Speaky is an Android application that provides access to a platform for sharing language experience. The service is implemented in the format of a social network and allows you to communicate with users from different countries. There is a rating system for different categories and a general list of leaders.

Selecting an interlocutor

To access the service, you need to register, a quick login via Facebook or Google account is supported. Then the system will offer you to fill out a profile, it is recommended to specify the level of language proficiency and a list of interests. This will allow the algorithm to select interlocutors. The feed is divided into two sections - native speakers of the selected language and a list of users who only want to learn. Sorting implies that recently registered users are above. If you click on a name, you can go to the profile. You can find out the user's interests and other information. To send a message there is a built-in chat, sending files is supported. If a violation of the rules is detected, you can quickly block the interlocutor or send a complaint to the administration. A full list of rules and restrictions can be found in the help section. To access dialogs and new requests, you need to activate the corresponding tab.

Rating system

A rating is generated for each user to track their language learning progress. The following factors are taken into account:

• dialogs accepted;
• number of messages;
• stickers sent;
• time spent working with the program;
• number of invited friends.

The platform is arranged in such a way that the more one helps other users, the better one learns the language.
