MeshLab

Processing

After launching the application, you need to open an existing project or create a new one. Various file formats are supported for loading, including 3DS, ES and OBJ. The main purpose of the program is to efficiently process unstructured meshes. The built-in algorithm allows you to automatically remove duplicate vertices and process the surface to eliminate various defects. There is a mode for combining independent patterns into a single structure. This also facilitates further processing and preparation for printing.

Rendering

Real-time rendering is supported. To maximize efficiency, OpenGL shaders are connected, which provides the ability to work with objects at high resolution. The optimization used reduces the load on the PC hardware.

Correction

Tools for adjusting brightness and color saturation are integrated. There is a set of ready-made filters that allow you to quickly adjust the optimal parameters. A separate panel contains a set of functions for preparing an object for printing on a standard 3D printer. In particular, you can level the bottom edge, which is necessary for reliable adhesion to the table. This is important, because otherwise the model in the printing process will simply fall from vibration.
