AllCast

AllCast is an Android application that allows you to stream videos, music and photos to TVs. You can launch, for example, a movie on your smartphone and watch it on the big screen.

Compatibility

The list of supported devices includes a large number of devices that support DLNA technology, including: Apple TV, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Roku and others.

Permissions

A number of permissions are required for the program to work correctly. You need access to the file system of the mobile device, Wi-Fi module status, as well as work in the background and Google account information.

Broadcasting

Beforehand, the user needs to make sure that both devices are within the same wireless network (connected to the same network device). The application automatically scans the network infrastructure, capturing all connected devices and displaying in the final list all supported devices. To start a new broadcast, all you need to do is select the content you want to transfer to another device. It can be a photo from the gallery, a music track or a video clip.

Nuances

A number of nuances must be taken into account during operation. When transmitting video in high quality, make sure that other devices do not occupy the channel, otherwise there may be speed limitations. Photos in portrait mode are displayed horizontally on the external screen, tools for rotation are not provided.
