Moscow AR VR

Moscow AR VR is an Android application that allows you to view Moscow streets using virtual reality. At the same time there is an opportunity to choose the time epoch.

Principle of operation

After installation, the program requests a number of permissions:

• file system;
• multimedia;
• camera.

You can also choose the interface language at once - Russian and English are supported. To switch to the V R mode you need to go to the menu and activate the corresponding option. To see the view of Moscow squares in different years you need to pre-select the necessary parameters for downloading panoramas. To switch to a different time it is enough to touch anywhere on the screen and select the desired range. It should be taken into account that 3D VR mode is available only if you connect special Cardboad glasses.

Viewing

Postcards can be uploaded as a set or one at a time. After activating a new item, it is necessary to specify whether it is possible to connect VR glasses. If not, the content will be adapted for viewing on a regular screen - the user will need to move the device to look around. There will be all the necessary prompts on the screen. If you have Cardboad, the application activates a full 3D VR mode, which allows you to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the chosen era. In this case, not only the architecture changes, but also the appearance of people. All elements of the scene are detailed, the application adapts the output of graphics to the parameters of the device. This ensures smooth viewing with maximum quality. Four time periods are available:

• 2018;
• 2000-2010;
• 1950-1960;
• 1910-1917.
