Mock Location

Mock Location is an Android service that allows you to hide your real location by showing fake coordinates instead.

Principle of operation

When the mobile utility is turned on, the user needs to click on a special icon that allows you to choose a fake route of movement. After the user sets up the fake route of movement, the utility will send this data to other applications that request permission to track the location.

Creating a route

When selecting a fake travel route, the user can customize the start and end points of the route. It is also possible to add stops on the route and enter the time that the user was supposedly in the selected location. This comes in handy for a fake car ride. To find a place for a future route, the user can use the search bar or manually put a mark on the built-in map.
