Firefox Translations

Firefox Translations is a plugin for the browser of the same name, which allows you to translate texts while working with the site. It supports 10 languages and uses a neural network for translation.

Getting started

The extension is installed in the browser according to the standard scheme, the corresponding icon appears on the toolbar. After installation, you need to click on the icon and select the desired language in the list that appears. The module does not use network access during operation, so it can work correctly in offline mode.

Translation

To translate a text section on an open page, just select the desired text section and click on the extension icon. A separate panel will display the corresponding translation. You can also select the translation mode for the whole page together with the interface elements. It is possible to save the new version to a local disk for future viewing. The use of tools based on artificial intelligence ensures high translation speed. Processing and downloading the result takes a few seconds. At the same time, high quality of translation is ensured, regardless of the text type. The algorithm used is constantly being refined to improve the quality of translation. The developers are also working on new features and expanding the list of supported languages.

Additional features

The function of automatic source language detection is provided. There is also support for hotkeys, which greatly simplifies the process of text translation. The list of available combinations can be found in the plugin description.
