BooReader is a handy application for Windows that allows you to create e-books from text documents of any format. The functionality allows you to convert text documents into JAR-format for convenient e-book reading on phones and tablets supporting Java and Symbian formats. The application allows you to customize the type of text scrolling, e-book layout style and text font. If necessary, you can save the original formatting.

How to use

After launching the program you need to specify the full path to the text document that needs to be converted into an e-book. The application can work with all Microsoft Word extensions, as well as FB2, CHM, PDF, etc. If necessary, you can convert data received from FTP or HTTP servers. The program supports the ability to convert several documents simultaneously.

Customizing eBook settings

After specifying the file path and opening the customization window, you need to select a suitable font and text size. All installed fonts are available to choose from. If necessary, you can retain the original text formatting that was in the document, including colored highlights and boldface. The automatic chaptering feature allows you to organize your text more quickly. To do this, you need to specify the required type of heading in a special line. There is a possibility to create a detailed content of the book, the function of smooth text scrolling with the ability to go to any page by specifying its number. There are tactile and sound effects when turning pages: paper rustling, vibration.
