Hibernate

Hibernate is an Android application that allows you to optimize your smartphone without special skills or interference in system settings. This is done by putting background processes into hibernation mode. For this operation, special features of the operating system are used. It is worth considering that for OS version 5 and higher, the user needs to manually give the program access to this option. For security reasons, the system cannot obtain these privileges automatically. It should also be taken into account that the utility cannot work correctly in Android versions 7 and above - again due to the security mechanism used.

Working with processes

After startup, the program displays a panel with a list of all background processes detected during the scanning stage. Each item in the list is accompanied by a checkbox. The user can immediately specify a set of processes that should be temporarily disabled. During operation, the corresponding icon is displayed on the notification panel. It is important to understand the mechanism of the program's work with OS components. The program does not completely disable the application, the system can return to it at any time. Only data from RAM are unloaded, the status is preserved. The menu provides for setting up automatic operation of the application. In this case, it starts when the device is turned on and independently switches background processes to passive mode. This allows not only to improve performance, but also to extend the battery life of the smartphone. It is possible to see the list of the most active processes at the moment, which allows you to find out the cause of performance degradation and take action.
