Desert Island is an Android application that is a simple launcher. Its main purpose is to hide applications that can be distracting. This allows the user to concentrate on the tasks at hand.

The functionality of the utility allows you to limit the list of used programs, leaving only the most necessary ones. To access utilities outside the list, you need to click on a special icon in the upper right corner and confirm the action. Applications of this type many users use to get rid of addiction. Modern phones provide extensive functionality, so people spend more and more time with it. When installing a large number of programs, the number of notifications increases - messengers, social networks, games, e-mail and so on. However, most of them are not important and can be opened later.

Selecting programs

At the first launch, the user is offered to immediately select the desired applications that will be displayed on the main screen. For example, you can leave calls, camera, e-mail browser and so on. The utility uses the simplest possible interface. Themes, wallpapers and other familiar design elements are not provided. The list of available applications is displayed on a white background without icons. You can quickly switch to the mode of editing this list. To do this, you need to click on the icon at the top of the window. You can also delete it completely and make a new one by selecting the necessary items from the general list. It should be borne in mind that applications are not completely blocked. The Launcher is a component of the Digital Wellbeing platform and users use it at will.
